I have been regularly going through mini circuits in the mornings. Generally, I choose 3-5 exercises and go through the workout in quick succession three times. This normally involves 2-3 upper body focused items (chest, shoulders, triceps, biceps), 1-2 lower body focused items (legs), and 1-2 ab/core focused items. It can be rough for that initial wake up when the snooze button calls, but once I'm up, it goes by pretty well. I've also resumed my running (2-3 times a week) of about 2-3 miles and biking (1-2 times a week) of about 30-40 miles. I'm yet undecided on if I will do the MS150 this year, but plan to train as if I will be doing that at the end of April. I will also start upping my time and pace in preparation for the Mercedes Benz Corporate Run this spring. I'm going to aim for a sub 25 minute mark. Then I will continue to work on my pace and distance through December, when we'll again test ourselves on a 12 mile course.
Stay tough!
Jared
