First day of training....

That's what I'll call it anyway... lol Definitely did not want to skip out on training this weekend so I decided to try a mile and see how my knee would react to it. Aside from being in the worst shape of my life, my knee was alright. No pain what so ever. The plan is to get together with Jeremy for my local training sessions, and trying to hit up both Orlando once a month to train with Mui, and alternate every other month to head down to Miami and train with my Miami Folks.

On another note, If you are looking into purchasing some sort of run monitor, I would recommend a Garmin. The one I've got I've had for years, and its still ticking. Aside from being a true GPS and not a pedometer like the nike+ or Ipod variant which are not very accurate when it comes to distance, it also keeps track of elevation, pace, speed, and records the path you ran along with other options I'm sure I'm forgetting. Anyway, check it out and see for yourselves.
