'Staches? We ain't got no stinking 'staches...but should we?

So, I was thinking...what does the male contingent think about styling mustaches for the Mudder event?  Personally, I would grow a full goatee (some call it the Van Dyke) and then just shave my chin before the event.  I might look a bit too much like a pedophile with just the stache before the actual Mudder.

Any takers?  I'm styling a pretty serious scruff this weekend, so it would be a good time to start.

Edit: As an additional motivator for the mustache idea, November is affectionately known as Mo-vember, where men around the world grow out mustaches in an effort to promote awareness about testicular and prostate cancer.  As someone who is personally very close to this issue (my dad is currently undergoing chemo for prostate cancer) I am doing this whether for the mudder or not.  I will grow my goatee starting today and shave my chin on 11/1.  Please join me and raise awareness for these particular cancers, which are preventable and defeatable.
