Team - Workout Log - 01.26.13

Emilio, Jared, Frankie, and I got together for the following workout last Saturday at 7am.  Total workout was about two hours with a brief 10 minute break in the middle.


  1. About 5 mile run.  Jared has the official distance as I didn't have my Garmin with me.
  2. CrossFit class as follows:
    • 1 minute Burpees
    • 1 minute Box Jumps
    • 1 minute Wall Balls
    • 1 minute Butterfly Sit-ups
    • 1 minute Dumbbell Shoulder Presses
    • 1 minute rest.
    • repeat 2 more times for 3 total rounds.
Everyone did great.  We are getting together this upcoming weekend for a 6+ mile run with another workout thereafter.  Each weekend we will increase our distance from 6+ next weekend, 8 the following weekend, then two weekends of 10 mile runs before the big event!

Team, please please please please PLEASE run at least once (preferably twice) during the week.  This will ensure that you are better prepared for the long weekend run.

Jared, Emilio, and I are getting together this Thursday evening to do one of our mid-week runs together.  We will be running about 5 miles if anyone wants to join in.
