Finally got a 10k time on my garmin. Not a great time, but something to work on. It also had two bridge runs, and three exercise stations in between. Time 1:07.44 - 6.25 miles. Definitely challenging, but a great session.
Props to my man Jeremy for keeping it going through the run. He'd been out sick for about two weeks, and jumped into the 10k. Great job!
Last week, i took a break, but this week, i had a 4 mile run on tuesday with 3 workout stations in betwen, a 5k on Thursday with 3-3 exercises circuits in between, and today's 10k with the three stations and two bridge runs. Definitely feeling it, but glad we did it.
Aside from the week prior to this one, Jeremy and I had been pretty consistent with 3 run weeks. I'm confident on my cardio, but aside from increasing our distance, we've started working on upper body. Been keeping it simple, just push ups, crunches, and air squats. I hope to start incorporating pull ups, and switching up the mid section exercises.
That's what we've been up to... lets hear it from you guys... What have you been doing to get ready for the TM?
