Training Starts When?? NOW!

I may have a wedding and a honeymoon to contend with, but I started running now.  Feedback from you guys was that some team members were slacking in the running preparation.  Time to get your miles in now, boys.  Failing at an obstacle is one thing, but keeping the whole team out there longer than needed is another.

Don't be that guy.  Get your miles in.  I'm going to get a schedule of distances ready.  We all know that proper preparation leads to a quality event.  We must chose to tackle this thing in an aggressive manner.  We are no longer rookies.  However, those rookies now joining the team will look to us to raise the bar.  We will start team training this summer (JUNE) and we will carry that forward into the fall.  If some of you chose to think it's too early to start, then you need to correct that line of thinking right away.

NONE of us are in in any way close to being in peak shape.  If you aren't in peak shape then just give yourself more time to get there.

  1. I like the look of the site better this way. Mui, if you're up for it, I'm definitely down to start training earlier for this. Remember, the more work you put in to the training and preparation, the easier the actual event and recovery time will be. Let me know.

When is the first team training session?? lol too soon?!

  2. I think we do at least one team training per month, starting in June. Let me see what post-wedding-planning life is like, as I don't remember what it feels like to have free time. Once I get back from the honeymoon we can plan our training, but I'm thinking last weekend in June.
